Supporting Taos Municipal School's Infastructure

Facilities manages the day-to-day operations of TMS schools, modular buildings, annexes, and administrative offices. Taos Municipal Schools facilities staff are critical to support educational function and student safety. The department ensures that the district’s schools and facilities are clean, safe, heated and cooled, and dry.

Waste Removal And Recycling

We manage trash and recycling services for schools and offices including collection, disposal, and equipment necessary for collection. Each school has waste and recycling dumpsters.

School Maintenance

The Maintenance Department is dedicated to providing and maintaining a safe, orderly and respectful learning environment which will contribute to student and staff achievements.

Taos Maintenance

Integrated Facilities Management (IFM)

Schools receive engineer and custodial services, interior repair work through various trade vendors, landscaping, pest control, energy management, and snow removal services.
