Welcome! Our mission at Arroyos Del Norte Elementary School (ADNE) is to provide an innovative STEAM education that values students and instills confidence to pursue global career pathways. Our highly qualified teachers offer small classes from Pre-K through 5th grade, with an average class size of 17 students. Located between Arroyo Seco and Arroyo Hondo communities, we serve students from all over the Taos area. Our staff and teachers are committed to providing an academically challenging environment where students and their families are encouraged to participate in the learning process together. Our school initiatives and activities include: • AVID Elementary College & Career Readiness, • PAX Social Emotional Support, • Daily Bilingual Spanish instruction for all students, • Growth Mindset, • 4-acre Nature Trail, • Greenhouse and Gardening, • Pre-College Aviation Course, • Visiting Artist Program, •5th Grade Science Activities led by Taos Soil & Water Conservation District, • For the Love of Reading, • Ski Club (K-5th Grades), •Robotics Club, • Chess Club and • Weekly classes of STEAM Lab, Art, PE, Library.
