Safety Message At 8:29 AM, a BB gun fell from a student’s backpack at Enos Garcia Elementary. It was safely confiscated by staff, and the student was detained by administration. Local law enforcement responded promptly. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.

Update
At approx. 12:03 PM today, a report was made regarding the sound of gunfire in the area surrounding Taos High School. Taos Sheriff’s Department was immediately dispatched and investigating the report. Following safety protocols, THS was under lockdown then shelter in place which has been lifted. More updates coming.
